06/08 - Great service in every regard and fast next-day appointment! I had a tedious job of replacing four springs on an 11yr old $3000 Acura due to a broken front factory coil. The car is a daily-driver that gets battered via street parking in downtown Chicago and they knew I didn't want any expenses that weren't necessary above the spring replacements. The fronts swapped out relatively easily but as is common with the type and age of car in Chicago (heavily salted winter roads) the bolts holding the rear springs and struts were seized to the point where the could have easily been broken resulting in the required replacement of a much more expensive piece. After working for a long time on getting the rears loose without breaking them they called to consult me and explain that if they turned them any harder there was a chance of snapping them. After weighing the risks I decided not to have the rears replaced and they saved me a huge hassle and a quite a few hundred bucks. I was very impressed with the service and prices.
02/08 - They got me in the day the tires were delivered. I'm particular about my new BMW and they were very accommodating. I will definitely go back.
01/08 - Another Great Experience! Shredded one of my new tires on a famous Chicago pot-hole. Tire Rack shipped a new tire directly to Lucas Auto they installed the new tire and performed an oil-lube-filter in about 40 mins. Clean (for an auto shop) friendly and knowledgeable.

10/07 - They were very nice on the phone and happy to do business with me, even though I did not buy tires from them. They took my car right away, since I called ahead and were promptly done in an hour, as estimated. They also took care of rust on my rim at no extra cost (not cosmetic, but may have affected the mounting of the tire).
10/07 - Excellent service! 2005 Scion TC. I had 4 tires shipped directly to installer. They mounted and balanced the tires, performed alignment, put on front pads rotors, and did oil lube and filter service. Quoted prices were fair and reasonable; work was completed when promised (one day). They were friendly, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. All around first-rate experience!
07/07 - Got a flat on my non standard rims and I ordered 1 replacement tire from TR and had this installer put it on for me. They were fast fair and friendly. Good job.
06/07 - After calling another installer and told I would have to wait four or more hours to have my tires installed I called Lucas. They told me I would have my work performed as soon as I arrived, even if I did not purchase my tires directly from them. The work was done in about an hour and the price was fair. And just to clarify they were very busy. It was not as if I was the only customer there. I highly recommend.
03/07 - 2 thumbs up. Knowledgeable and reasonably priced. Finally found an honest repair shop with great service. Will bring my car there for tires and maintenance anytime.

12/06 - Good shop. Guy running the place knew his stuff and kept an eye on everything going on in the shop. Well organized and well run outfit. Had ample staff and facilities to take care of my installation at a time convenient to me and did the work quickly. Reasonable charge and quality work. I'd go back to them again for sure.
